In a special meeting held on August 14, 2020, the Grant County Commissioners passed a mandate that requires all citizens to wear a face mask while out in the public. The action was taken after advice was received from county health officials and will go into effect at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) August 14, 2020. The commissioners are asking that masks be worn in public if 6 feet social distancing cannot be maintained and inside of all public buildings and businesses. The mask mandate will be in effect through September 15th when the commission will review their action. More information will be available in the August 20th issue of the Ulysses News.
