Incident Location: 1300 blk. Of East Oklahoma ave. Ulysses KS.

Details:
Officers were summoned to a reported shooting at a residence in the 1300 block of East Oklahoma ave. Upon arrival they located a 11yr. old female suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. She was transported to Bob Wilson Hospital by Grant County E.M.S.
While the incident is still under investigation, preliminary investigation indicates that a 13yr old male at the residence was handling a firearm when it discharged striking the 11yr. old girl.
