Media Passes Will Not be Distributed During This Time by The Ulysses News

We have several parents requesting media passes from us to cover sporting events in the event of the recent decision by Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) of not allowing spectators at sporting events.

Unfortunately, unless the decision with KSHSAA changes, we will not be authorizing any non-employee of The Ulysses News media passes to cover any USD 214/GCRC events until at least January 28, 2021.

Shayla Jaquez, Jantz Becker and Tammie Hensley will be the only representatives from The Ulysses News covering sports for our local media organization authorized by KSHSAA.

Please know that once this decision has changed or the COVID-19 situation has been mitigated, we will again gladly work with parents and other local photographers to accept pictures and issue media passes to events.

Thank you for understanding the importance of maintaining the integrity of the credentials and keeping our exceptional and long standing relationship with KSHSAA in good standing.
