Ulysses Police Officer Alex Partida, Jr Arrested For Domestic Violence and Aggravated Assault with a Weapon

Alex Partida, Jr., a current Ulysses Police Department officer was arrested on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at approximately 4:15am after a 911 call was initiated from a residence on Missouri Street.
Partida, 29, has been charged with Domestic Battery and Aggravated Assault with a Weapon. He is currently being housed in the Stanton County Jail. Bond is unknown at the publishing of this story.
In reviewing recent information, Partida graduated from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center on June 12, 2015 and began his career at the Grant County Sheriff’s Office before transferring to his current employer, The City of Ulysses.
We do not currently know the status of Partida’s employment with the City of Ulysses at this time.
No further information has been released. The Kansas Bureau of Association (KBI) is investigating the allegations.
Partida is proven innocent until he is proven guilty in a court of law.
Information Released Today from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation is as follows:
At approximately 9:15 p.m. on Dec. 29, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office requested KBI assistance to investigate a possible domestic violence incident involving an officer of the Ulysses Police Department.
Tuesday night at around 8:15 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a domestic violence incident that occurred at 730 Fischer Court in Ulysses, Kan. After initial statements were taken from the officer, 29-year-old Alex Partida, Jr., and a 20-year-old female subject, Partida was arrested. He was booked into the Grant County Jail for domestic battery and aggravated assault, and then transferred to the Stanton County Jail. KBI agents responded to the scene to investigate further.
The investigation is ongoing. Formal charges are pending. Nothing further will be released at this time.
