2022 Grant County Primary Election Results

On August 2, 2022, the Primary Election was held at the Grant County Civic Center. There are a total of 3,708 registered voters in Grant County, and it was reported with a 38.54% turnout with 1,429 total votes casted. Listed are the official results for the 2022 Election:

Jerry Moran won the Republican vote for the US Senate with 930 votes. Mike Andra won the Democratic vote for the US Senate with 34 votes.

Tracey Mann won the Republican vote for US House of Representatives 1st District with 1035 votes. James “Jimmy” Beard won the Democratic vote for US House of Representatives 1st District with 98 votes.

Derek Schmidt and Katie Sawyer won the Republican vote for Governor/Lieutenant Governor with 795 votes. Laura Kelley and David Toland won the Democratic vote Governor/Lieutenant Governor seats with 105 votes.

Mike Brown won the Republican vote for Secretary of State with 573 votes. Jeanna Repass won the Democratic vote for Secretary of State with 94 votes.

Kris Kobach won the Republican vote for Attorney General with 492 votes. Chris Mann won the Democratic vote for Attorney General with 95 votes.

Steven Johnson won the Republican vote for State Treasurer with 637 votes. Lynn W. Rogers won the Democratic vote for State Treasurer with 104 votes.

Vicki Schmidt won the Republican vote for Commissioner of Insurance with 953 votes. Kiel Corkran won the Democratic vote for Commissioner of Insurance with 97 votes.

David Younger won the Republican vote for Kansas House of Representatives 124th District with 964 votes.

Jean Clifford won the Republican vote for State Board of Education 5th District with 874 votes.

Bradley E. Ambrosier won the Republican vote for District Court Judge District 26, Division 1st with 974 votes.

Linda Gillmore won the Republican vote for District Court Judge District 26, Division 3rd with 981 votes.

Marty Long won the Republican vote for County Commissioner 1st District with 276 votes.

John Martin won the Republican vote for County Commissioner 2nd District with 219 votes.

867 voters in Grant County voted YES to amend the Kansas Constitution to regulate abortions. 469 voters in Grant County voted NO to amend the Kansas Constitution to regulate abortions.

Jerry K. Caldwell won the Committeeman vote for Precinct 1.

Rhonda D. Anderson won the Committeewoman vote for Precinct 1.

Thomas J. Fuhrmann won the Committeeman vote for Precinct 2.

Margaret Nightengale won the Precinct Committeewoman vote for Precinct 2.

Roger A. Flummerfelt won the Committeeman vote for Precinct 3.

Dee Longoria won the Committeewoman vote for Precinct 3.

J. Stephen Alford won the Committeeman vote for Precinct 4.

Kathy Olson won the Committeewoman vote for Precinct 4.

The General Election will take place on November 8, 2022.
