Chamber Coffee

Chamber coffee this week will be held at the Ulysses News, 218 N. Main St. Stop by and wish Shayla good luck as she is leaving the paper after over 20 years. Enjoy refreshments, community announcements and visiting with other business people and community members. If your business or organization would like to host a coffee, call the Grant County Chamber at 620-356-4700.

Pray for Rain

The entire community is invited to join SMCC at Memorial Park on Main Street in Ulysses on Thursday, May 12th to Pray for Rain. They will meet at 6:00 PM and encourage anyone and everyone to join them. Bring your umbrella and be ready to pray.

Carnival

The Grant County Chamber of Commerce will be bringing the WEEE Entertainment Carnival to town from May 12th through 14th from 7:00 to 11:00 PM each evening. The carnival will be located in front of Joyce School on Baughman Street and wristbands or single tickets will be available.

Family Fun Night

Grace Lutheran Church will be holding another Family Fun Night on Friday, May 20th at 205 E. Patterson Ave. Enjoy food, games, a bouncy house and more. Bring your family and take in the fun from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

Senior Movie

The Grant County Library invites adult seniors to the library on the last Monday of each month for a movie and refreshments. The event will begin at 2:00 PM.

Grant County Recreation

The next meeting of the Grant County Recreation Commission board will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 5:30 PM in the GCRC business office. The meeting is open to the public.

Commissioners

The next Grant County Commissioners meeting will be Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the courthouse at 9:00 AM. The meeting is open to the public.

USD 214 Board of Education

The School Board’s next meeting will be Tuesday, May 17, 2022, 7:00 PM at the Kepley Middle School library.

City Council

The Ulysses City Council meeting will be Wednesday, May 25, 2022, 5:00 PM at City Hall. Open to the public.

Medical Fund

A medical fund has been established at Grant County Bank for Susana Barron. She has been diagnosed with pancreatic/lung cancer. Donations may be brought in or mailed to 201 S. Main Street.
