Chamber Coffee

The Chamber Coffee this Friday, September 23rd will be hosted by First National Bank, 1110 W. Oklahoma, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Everyone is invited to enjoy refreshments, catch up on community news and learn what’s new at the bank. If your business or organization is interested in hosting coffee, call the Chamber at 620-356-4700.

Senior Movie

Senior Citizens of the community are invited to enjoy a movie at the Grant County Library on the last Monday of each month beginning at 2:00 PM. The next movie will be shown on September 26th. 

Farmer’s Market

The Farmer’s Market is being held each Saturday morning at the Historic Adobe Museum in Ulysses. Bring your home grown, hand made and hand crafted items to sell beginning at 8:00 AM. There is no charge. Call the museum at 620-356-3009 for more information.

Circus

The circus will be in Ulysses on Thursday, September 22nd in the Civic Center auditorium. Shows will be at 4:30 and 7:00 PM.

Library Closing

The Grant County Library will be closed all day on Friday, September 30th for staff training.

USD 214 Board of Education

The School Board’s next meeting will be Monday, October 10, 2022, 7:00 PM at Joyce School.

Commissioners

The next Grant County Commissioners meeting will be Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the courthouse at 9:00 AM. The meeting is open to the public.

City Council

The Ulysses City Council will meet on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, 5:00 PM at City Hall. Open to the public.

Rec Board Meeting

The next meeting of the Grant County Recreation Board will be on Monday, October 3rd at 5:30 PM at the Recreation office.

Medical Fund

A medical fund has been set up at Golden Plains Credit Union for Solia Ochoa to help with medical expenses and travel.  Donations can be dropped off at any GPCU location or mailed to GPCU PO Box 868 Ulysses, Ks 67880.

Medical Fund

A medical fund has been established at Grant County Bank for Susana Barron. She has been diagnosed with pancreatic/lung cancer. Donations can be brought in or mailed to 201 S. Main.
