For Autism: They Wear Blue In April

Posted

Staff at Sullivan Elementary in Ulysses wore Blue in support of Autism Awareness Month in April. National Autism Acceptance Month was celebrated April 1-30, and serves to raise awareness and promote autism acceptance. Every April, communities across the United States come together to increase understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This annual campaign aims to shine a light on the unique experiences of individuals with autism and to advocate for their inclusion and well-being. Understanding what Autism Awareness Month is about is vital because it highlights the importance of support services, early intervention, and ongoing advocacy for individuals on the spectrum.
