Ulysses Native Chase Trahern has owned and operated Great Plains Autoplex since it opened in March of 2020.
“While it is the ‘newest’ dealership in town,” Trahern said, “It is the longest rooted one.” Trahern’s family has been in the automotive industry since the late 1970’s. “The dealership is what I grew up knowing and loving, and I want to give that back to the community.”
Trahern helps bring a variety of used automobiles to the region, and he is dedicated to meeting the needs of his customers in every way possible. “I want to make the whole car buying process stress-free, simple, and fun.” Trahern said, “I try to carry a anything from the $5000 car to the $85,000 car.”
Great Plains Autoplex is a dealer of Polaris ATV/UTVs, LS Tractors, and Bad Boy Mowers, and they carry a used selection of Hyundai, Ford, Jeep, Chevrolet, and many other car manufacturers.
“Customers can expect smiling faces that are willing to help put them in their dream vehicle.” Trahern said, “If I don’t have a specific vehicle here, I will do my best to find it for a customer.”
“The best thing about the community is they are always willing to help,” Trahern said, “I love getting to meet different people, go to auctions, and interact with the community.”

Great Plains Autoplex is located at 430 S. Arapahoe, and shares a building with Dana Trahern’s NextHome Office. They are open Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, and Saturdays by appointment only.
