Larry Joe Britton, age 69

Larry Joe Britton was born on December 21, 1952, in Ulysses, Kansas to Wilford (Bill) Britton and Mary Ena (Swindler) Britton. He passed away on March 22, 2022, in Denver, Colorado with his family by his side.

Larry was an extremely talented artist in Montrose, Colorado, where he lived for nearly 22 years. He left his mark in Ulysses as well with his work in several businesses and the Grant County Historic Adobe Museum.

Larry is survived by his children, Dallas and Kimberly, and their mother, Judy Garcia-Britton of Denver, Colorado; his sister, Carol Moore of Monett, Missouri; sister-in-law Susan Britton of Ulysses; two aunts; numerous sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mary; and his brother, Roger.

An open house will be held at the Historic Adobe Museum in Ulysses on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The family will be present to greet family and friends in honor of Larry. The family would also like to share that memorial donations may be given to the museum in Larry’s name.
