Beltran Sentenced to 16 Years at District Court

Judge Clint Peterson presided over District Court on Thursday, September 15, 2022.

Exodus Ochoa appeared for sentencing. Ochoa is charged with Criminal Discharge of a Firearm, a level seven felony. Ochoa was sentenced to 12 months in the Department of Corrections (DOC) with 20 percent good time credit and post release supervision of 12 months. Ochoa was also charged with Deprivation of Property with a Firearm, a level seven non-person felony. Ochoa was sentenced to 6 months, with 20 percent good time credit and post release supervision of 12 months.

Savanna Hernandez’s case was continued to November 3, 2022.

Cecilia Salmeron appeared for sentencing. Salmeron is charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, a level seven felony. Salmeron was sentenced to 13 months in the DOC with 20 percent good time credit and 12 months post release supervision, as well as 24 months probation with the Community Corrections. Salmeron was also charged with D.U.I., a Level B Misdemeanor. Salmeron was given a suspended sentenced of 6 months in Jail to run consecutively to count one. Salmeron was given 310 days credit for time served, and she must register as an offender for 15 years after the completion of her sentence.

Matthew Shore appeared for Arraignment. Shore plead No Contest to was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, a level 5 drug felony with a maximum sentence of 22 months in jail with post release supervision. Shore plead no contest to this charge. Judge Peterson found Shore guilty of the crime, and scheduled his sentencing for November 3rd at 9:00am.

Francisco Beltran appeared for Sentencing. Beltran was charged with: Robbery, a level 5 felony. Beltran was sentenced to 130 months in the DOC with 15 percent good time credit, and 24 months post release supervision. Aggravated Assault, a level seven felony. Beltran was sentenced to 11 months in the DOC with 20 percent good time credit, and 12 months post release supervision. Criminal Possession of a Firearm as a Felon, a level eight non-person felony. Beltran was sentenced to 8 months in the DOC, with 20 percent good time credit, and 18 months post release supervision. Conspiracy to Commit Active Robbery, a level five person felony. Beltran was sentenced to 32 months in the DOC, with 15 percent good time credit, and 24 months post release supervision. Contributing to Child Misconduct, a level seven person felony. Beltran was sentenced to 11 months in the DOC, with 20 percent good time credit, and 24 months post release supervision. All counts are to run consecutively for a total of 192 months, or 16 years. Beltran was given 1,266 days credit for time served, and he must register as an offender for 15 years after the completion of her sentence.

John Christopher Cuellar appeared for Arraignment. His case was continued for November 3rd at 9:00am.

JD Ochoa’s case was continued for November 3rd at 9:00am.
