Caring for our communities means doing more than addressing our patients' emergent heath care needs. At Centura Health, we're also working to address the root-cause of health inequities.

"We're thrilled to share that for the second consecutive year, Centura will distribute $5 million in grants to community-based organizations committed to advancing social justice and health equity across Colorado, western Kansas and, for the first time, north-central Utah," said a Centura Health spokesperson. "Grants will begin at $50,000 and are awarded to support work that serves underserved communities, focuses on community capacity building, and leverages collaboration to increase social impact"

The grant application process opens May 15 and closes June 11.

Applicant must be operating within 50 miles of a Centura facility or a Centura-affiliated facility.

Questions regarding the grant can be directed to HealthEquityFund@Centura.org
