Golf Scramble
The American Legion of Ulysses will be hosting their annual golf scramble on Saturday, June 18th at Bentwood Golf Course. To register or to get information on sponsorship, call Silas Rosales at 913-375-3396.
Citizen of Year
The Grant County Chamber of Commerce is taking nominations for Citizen of the Year. Applications are available at the chamber office and are due by May 27, 2022.
Family Fun Night
Grace Lutheran Church will be holding another Family Fun Night on Friday, May 20th at 205 E. Patterson Ave. Enjoy food, games, a bouncy house and more. Bring your family and take in the fun from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
Senior Movie
The Grant County Library invites adult seniors to the library on the last Monday of each month for a movie and refreshments. The event will begin at 2:00 PM.
Grant County Recreation
The next meeting of the Grant County Recreation Commission board will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 5:30 PM in the GCRC business office. The meeting is open to the public.
Commissioners
The next Grant County Commissioners meeting will be Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at the courthouse at 9:00 AM. The meeting is open to the public.
USD 214 Board of Education
The School Board’s next meeting will be Monday, June 6, 2022, 7:00 PM at the Kepley Middle School library.
City Council
The Ulysses City Council meeting will be Wednesday, May 25, 2022, 5:00 PM at City Hall. Open to the public.
Medical Fund
A medical fund has been established at Grant County Bank for Susana Barron. She has been diagnosed with pancreatic/lung cancer. Donations may be brought in or mailed to 201 S. Main Street.
