Darrell Duane Dickey, 67, Ulysses, passed away Sunday, October 1, at the Kearny County Hospital in Lakin.
He was born September 13, 1956, in Alliance, Neb., the son of Ivan and Jean (Colburn) Dickey.
Duane graduated from Otis High School in 1974.
He married Tammy Jewell in 1975. They had two children: Roger Leroy and Robin Jewell.
Duane owned and operated Dickey Trucking with his Dad, Ivan. They were the best team and Roger joined them in 2006, driving all over the USA.
Duane is survived by his wife, Tammy, of their home; son, Roger Dickey and wife, Aimee of Lakin; daughter, Robin Leonard, and husband, Colby, Ulysses; five grandchildren: Dalton Leonard, Jackson Leonard, Corbin Leonard, Trinitee Dickey and Caryn Dickey.

A celebration of Duane’s life will take place at a later date.
