Jack Lee Julian passed away October 2, at the Porter Adventist Hospice, Littleton, Colo., at the age of 93.
Jack Lee was born November 25, 1930, to Raymond and Ruth Stansbury Julian in Garden City, Kan., and grew up on his parents’ farm in Ulysses.
Jack was a graduate of Ulysses High School and continued his education at Hutchinson Junior College, where he met Charlotte Orth.
Jack and Charlotte married September 11, 1949. It must have been a match from heaven as they remained married for the next 75 years.
Jack moved his family to Hutchinson, Kan., in 1966 to start his career in banking with his uncle, Frank Hart, in South Hutchinson Kansas. He continued his education at Colorado University School of Banking, Boulder, Colo., and remained in banking until his retirement.
Jack Julian was a past Master of the Ulysses Masonic Lodge. He had a great passion for the culture of the Southwest Native Americans and kindled that passion by visiting museums and multiple historical dwellings.
Jack is survived by his wife, Charlotte Julian; daughter, Jennifer Ryall, Littleton, Colo.; and Tyler (son) and Candy Julian, Temecula, Calif.
Jack was proceeded in death by his son, Brandon J. Julian, on September 01, 2023, in Heber City, Utah.
Jack is also survived by his beloved grandchildren (five) and great grandchildren (nine).
We will all miss Jack’s great sense of humor and adventure.
