Juanita Loredo, 75, Liberal, Kans., passed away July 27.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Mario Loredo; and her children: Norma Armenta, Alma and Jesus Cardenas, Mario Jr. and Mayra Loredo, and Raquel and John Arellano; along with 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
With her compassionate heart and listening ear, Juanita touched countless lives as a Pastor’s Wife. Her ability to offer guidance and support to those seeking solace was a testament to her deep understanding of God and her genuine desire to help others. A dear friend to many, she was always there to lend an ear, offer words of encouragement, and provide a shoulder to lean on.
In the past, she had been a Teacher’s Aide, taught ESL, was a Certified Nurses Aide, and worked with the children’s ministry in the church. Along with her husband, Mario, Juanita pastored the Centro Cristiano Church in Liberal for 27 years and founded Libertad En Cristo Ministries Inc in 1990.
Juanita’s legacy of love, kindness, and faith will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
Let us celebrate the beautiful life of Juanita Loredo and find solace in the knowledge that she has found eternal peace in the loving embrace of her Creator. May her soul rest in everlasting peace.
Celebration of life will be at South Church of God in Liberal, Kans., at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 3, with Pastor Mario Loredo officiating.
Interment will follow at the Liberal Cemetery in Liberal.
Visitation will be at South Church of God in Liberal from 2-6 p.m., Wednesday, August 2, when a Praise Service will begin.
