NextHome: "There Is Always A Happy Ending!

Posted

On July 1, 2021, Dana Trahern officially joined NextHome, one of the fastest growing real estate franchises in the country.

“I grew up in Ulysses and raised my kids here.” Trahern said, “My parents owned businesses in Ulysses for 40 years, and our family is happily invested in this community.”

NextHome has been voted the number one franchise in the country for the third year in a row.

“We strive to provide the best buying and selling experience possible for all of our clients,” Dana said. Dana and her team work hard to create “standout” listings by providing professional photography, crisp marketing materials, and marketing plans tailored to each individual property. “We help our clients from the ‘I’m thinking of selling’ stage, to the ‘ready to close’ stage,” Trahern said, “We have you covered!”

With real estate, Dana believes the people purchasing the houses are more valuable than just “selling a house.” “The stories people bring, and the friends I have made along the way are the most important and rewarding part of my job,” Dana said, “Real Estate gives me so many opportunities to get out and meet old friends, and make new ones. There is always a happy ending.”

Dana said she understands that buying and selling can become stressful and overwhelming, and she is intentional on taking these stresses away from clients by working by their side throughout the entire buying or selling process. “Having someone trust me with such a huge milestone in their life is humbling,” Dana said, “We are so grateful that Ulysses and surrounding communities allow us to do what we love, and what we know.”

Many people have been attracted to NextHome because of their bright orange mascot, “Luke”. “Luke is a friend, mascot, and brand ambassador who is responsible for being the most loyal companion you’ll ever meet,” according to NextHome’s website, “He helps connect people with their homes, helps connect [NextHome] with communities across the country and with each other.”

Last year, Dana was awarded the Master Club Award from NextHome. The Master Club Award is an individual award given by NextHome Corporate to Brokers and Agents who have made remarkable achievements in their community. Dana recently earned the Top Agent Award from the 2022 President’s Circle Awards.

“I never dreamt we would be in the running for any award at all,” Dana said, “This was a very humbling, and shocking, surprise.”

“I really do have the very best clients,” Dana expressed, “I cannot thank Ulysses enough for embracing us, and helping us take Real Estate to a higher standard.”

Dana does not work alone with NextHome. Brittney Seger is a full-time professional agent, and photographer. “I pride myself on offering superior personal service before, during, and after your transaction,” Seger said, “Knowledge, commitment, honesty, expertise, and professionalism are the cornerstone of my business.” “Brittney’s amazing photography skills create the most beautiful and professional listings around,” Dana said, “She works so hard to make our clients happy, and she succeeds 100 percent of the time.”

Reagan Keeler started out as an intern, but has quickly moved her way to “all things marketing” according to Dana. “She never misses a beat, and her creativity is amazing.” Dana said.

Dana’s son, Chase Trahern, is her “do anything I need” guy. “He is always here to help us.” Dana said. Gary “Pop” Riley is Dana’s “sign extraordinaire.” “Pop builds all the frames for my commercial signs, repairs signs from wind damage, and constantly checks on signs to makes sure they are all looking good for the listings.” Dana said.

Dana Trahern’s NextHome Office is located at 430 S. Arapahoe, and shares a building with Great Plains Autoplex, and they are open Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.
