Pink Out Raises Record $35,000

This year's Pink Out efforts raised a record $35,000.

"The Pink Out committee wants to share a big thank you to the Ulysses community and our wonderful sponsors," said a spokesperson for the Pink Out committee. "Because of your generosity and support, our fundraising event was a huge success and we raised $35,000."

The funds were divided into two checks: one for $11,665 to Women of Purpose, and the other for $23,335 for DuGood. The checks were presented to the organizations during Ulysses Tiger game action on February 21.

"Today the funds were shared with the Women of purpose and DuGood to benefit our local community," the spokesperson added. "All proceeds stay in Grant County. We could not have done it without you. the Ulysses community is the best."

Last year fundraising efforts garnered $30,000 for the two organizations.
