Rick Euliss, 64, of Ulysses, died Thursday, April 13, in Haskell County, Kans.
He was born April 9, 1959, in Dodge City, Kans., the son of Paul and Willetta “Billie” (Morris) Euliss.
Rick grew up in West Plains, Mo., and Satanta, Kans.
He married Lori Parks October 18, 1980, in Ulysses.
Rick enjoyed his work in the oilfield, working for Dowell, Mobil, BP and most recently Linn Energy as a production Supervisor. He was currently driving a truck for El Dorado Trucking.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and was a great cook. He loved spending time with his family, especially his kids and grandkids.
Rick is survived by his wife, Lori, of their home; children: Reanna Ramos and husband, David, Amarillo, Texas, Micah Euliss-Torres and husband, Armando, and Preston Euliss, all of Ulysses, Donna Olivas and husband, Refugio, Johnson, Lisa Boyce and husband, Vincent, Las Vegas, Nev., and Meagan Martinez and husband, Chris, Hutchinson, Kans; brothers: Paul Euliss, Jr. and wife, Marilyn, Elmwood, Okla.; Kyle Euliss and wife, Kellie, and John Euliss and wife, Kendra, all of Ulysses; 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and his dog and co-pilot, Chael.
Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Billie Euliss.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 18, at the Oasis Church in Ulysses with Pastor Andy McMillan officiating.
Interment will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m., Monday, April 17, at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
