Seward County Sheriff’s Office Make Drug Busts

LIBERAL - Seward County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant July 26, at a business in Liberal. During the search of the business. approximately 1.4 pounds of a controlled substance was located. The suspect faces charges of distribution of a controlled substance, distribution of drug paraphernalia, and no Kansas drug tax stamp. The second suspect faces charges of distribution of a controlled substance, distribution of drug paraphernalia, and no Kansas Drug Tax Stamp.

Seward County Sheriff's Office conducted a search warrant Wednesday, August 14, at a residence in Liberal. During the search of the property, approximately .2 pounds of cocaine was located. The suspect faces charges of Distribution of a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a school, distribution of drug paraphernalia within 1000 feet of a school, and no Kansas Drug Tax Stamp.

Seward County Sheriff's Office conducted a search warrant Thursday, August 15, at a residence in rural Seward County. During the search of the property, approximately 2.5 pounds of cocaine was located. The suspect faces charges of distribution of a controlled substance, conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, distribution of drug paraphernalia, and no Kansas Drug Tax Stamp.

Seward County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by officers from Liberal Police Deprtment, Haskell County Sheriff’s Office, and Meade County Sheriff’s Office.

The persons involved have not yet been convicted of a crime, and are presumed innocent. The presumption of innocence shall continue until such time that the persons accused may be found guilty in a court of law.
