Sullivan Students Raise Money For St. Jude

Posted

Sullivan Students and the community of Ulysses have done it again!  Each year since 2002, students have participated in a math-a-thon to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.  Students have learned about community service and helping others.

This year our community has proudly donated another $2,619.76!

On behalf of the Delta Delta chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, the sponsors of our math-a-thon, we thank you, thank you, and thank you again for the continued support.

We are helping save children's lives every day.

Danny Thomas, founder of St. Jude, had a mission that "No Child Shall Die in the Dawn of Life".  St. Jude is closer to fulfilling that mission because of your support!

Jude Math-A-Thon is designed to easily blend into K–8 math lessons! Participating students collect fundraising support as they complete five grade-appropriate math worksheets to help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

St. Jude Math-A-Thon is a free educational program that teaches kids the importance of math while benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. To participate, kids in grades K-8 ask family and friends for pledges to solve math problems in the St. Jude Math-A-Thon Funbook, developed by Scholastic.

Donations to St. Jude are used to fund research and cover the cost of lifesaving treatment and world-class patient care. Your donation will be used to support day-to-day operations at St. Jude, where no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.
