SUSANA BARRON

Susana Barron, 61, died August 7, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, Kans. 

She was born March 27, 1962, in Lubbock, Texas, to Cresencio Escobedo and Sulema (Leal) Barron.

For more than eight years, Susana was an office administrator for Angels Care Home Health. 

She enjoyed watching True Crime Shows, Lifetime movies, cooking, praying, relaxing and her Dallas Cowboys.  Above all, Susana was a devoted family member, always looking forward to spending time with her family.

She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church. 

Susana is survived by  her daughter, Patricia Barron, Hutchinson; siblings: Mike Miranda (Pat), Lubbock, Texas, Abundio “Frank” Barron (Tamara), Hutchinson, Daniel Vizcaino III, Midland, Texas, Diana Olivas (Faby), Maggie Ledesma (Victor), and Debbie Garcia, all of Ulysses; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cresencio and Sulema Barron, and a brother, Cresencio Barron, Jr.

Parish Rosary will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 11, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m., both at St. Teresa Catholic Church, 211 E. 5th Avenue, Hutchinson, with Father Matt Glazier officiating.

Friends may sign her book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary. 

Inurnment will be March 27, 2024, at Ulysses Cemetery. The time will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Cancer Council of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS  67501.
