Swim Team Names Sharks Of The Week

The Ulysses Sharks Swim Team announced their Sharks of the Week for June 2-9 as Eddie Alcala and Lizbeth Garay.

Eddie was awarded the honor for the 12 and under and Lizbeth for the 13 and Over.

Sharks of the Week named for June 10-17 were Eddie, Aria Gaddis and Lane Gaddis.

Eddie and Lizbeth were both named Star Sharks.

“Aria is a quick learner and has been doing very well at practice. She swam in her first meet Saturday and did great!” Shark team coaches said. "Eddie always pushes himeself to do better! He listens and wants to learn!"

The swimmer named as Shark of the Week was Lane.

“Lane is always ready to swim and on the ball. At the swim meet Saturday he kept asking, 'Can I swim yet?'”
