Tyler James Rosales, 22, Amarillo, Texas, died Friday, June 16, in Amarillo. 

He was born November 21, 2000, in Ulysses, the son of Royce Montez Rosales and Delma Garza.

Tyler grew up in Ulysses and attended Ulysses schools.  He moved to Amarillo in 2015 where he was employed by Lowe’s.  He also contracted to finish floors. 

Tyler was always smiling and enjoyed hanging out with friends and family.  He was a member of a car crew, loved camping, fishing, and basketball. His greatest joy was being a dad to his two children.

Tyler is survived by his mother, Delma Garza, Amarillo; father, Royce Montez Rosales, Garden City, Kans.; daughter, Natali Rosales; son, Navian Rosales both of Amarillo; girlfriend, Jayla Barlett, Amarillo; eight siblings; grandmother, Dora Garza, Ulysses; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tyler is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Carlos Garza and Paul Reyes Rosales, Sr.; and grandmother, Mary Helen Montez Rosales.

Visitation took place from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., June 22, at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses. 

Funeral service was at 10 a.m., Friday, June 23, at the Emmanuel Ministierio Church in Ulysses with Pastor George Devora officiating. 

Memorial contributions may be given to Tyler Rosales Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave., Ulysses, KS  67880.
