Ulysses Hosts District G Meeting of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International

The American Legion on Main Street was the site chosen for the District G meeting of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International March 4. There were around 18 people from Ulysses and the surrounding area who attended the meeting. 

Delta Delta Ulysses hosted people from Scott City, Garden City and Liberal. 

State officers present were Rachel Livermore, incoming secretary; and Barb Summers, incoming Second Vice President.

Mary Ann Johnson from Garden City presided over the meeting.

A delicious soup brunch was served, with a choice of taco soup, ham and beans and colorful squash and chicken soup. 

The regular meeting took place following the lunch.

Donations on the state level were given to Kansas Care and Share, The disaster fund, Heartspring and St. Jude. Locally, a donation was made to Cambri Minks, a middle school student in need of an upgraded wheelchair. 

New officers were installed and the group left looking forward to state convention in April.

Maryann Johnson was installing officer; Sharon Garey, Chaplain; Delores Currier, Treasurer; Rachel Livermore, Secretary; Ann Lamon, and Bonita Harkey, were installed as Co-Presidents.
