Attention all you ghosts and ghouls! October is officially here, and with that, the season of spook!
If you dare to scare with a scream-inducing costume or yard decorations, The Ulysses News will be hosting a Halloween contest in the near future! For best costume, there are four age categories: 0-5 years, 6-12 years, 13-17 years, and 18 years and up. Ages 0-5 and 6-12 will compete for a $25 cash prize while 13-17 and 18 and up compete for a $50 cash prize. One $50 cash prize winner will be chosen for Spookiest Yard Décor winner.
Submissions will be accepted starting Sunday, October 15 with voting beginning Sunday, October 22.
