Cindy Lee (Cantrell) Douglas

Cindy Lee Douglas, 74, formerly of Ulysses, Kansas, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Cremation has taken place.

She was born in Fort Collins, Colorado on August 24, 1951 to Donald Brice Cantrell and Barbara Ann (Lykins) Cantrell. 

Cindy attended schools in Ulysses and graduated from Ulysses High School in 1969. She furthered her education at Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology.

Cindy was employed by Honeywell in Albuquerque New Mexico for a number of years. She also worked at the University of New Mexico Cancer Care Center as a buyer and transcriptionist. After retiring in 2016 Cindy spent her spare time gardening, embroidering and playing with her beloved cats.

Cindy married her husband, Greg Douglas, in Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 23, 2003.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Douglas, a sister, Denise Cantrell of Lakewood, Colorado and numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Don and Barbara Cantrell.
