Confidence Is Key
Confidence is a firework in your hand
To have fun on the fourth of July
Trusting that it won't blow up too early
And knowing that the fuse is long enough to light it safely
Confidence is smiling in the mirror
And your reflection smiling back
To feel good about how you look
And accepting who you are
Confidence is a bird nest in a tree
depending on the tree branch to hold it
The bird hoping the branch doesn’t break
And come tumbling down
Confidence is a key
A key to success in whatever you do
A key that opens a different side of myself
A side that shows my true character
