Hate is a pot of water
Eventually getting hot enough
Boiling over
causing a mess
It can create a fire strong enough to overtake your judgment
it can be stopped
Stopped by controlling yourself
Stopped by thinking rationally
And turning off the fire
Hate is a mirror
It is revealing
It can show you who you really are
Reflecting what makes you hate yourself
Showing you your dark side
Showing you what you refuse to see
Hate is a bomb
Destroying what was once your life
Exploding at any moment
Hate is a fire
Consuming anything in its path
Leaving nothing unscathed
It can be weaponized
It is overpowering
Hard to control
But it can eventually be put out
Bring in new life and perspective
Tearing down what was destroying you
Hate is a flower
Soon to be in full bloom
Picked at the perfect time
shows something beautiful
But at the wrong time
May show you a disgusting infected mess
it will soon wilt
Will soon be gone
Will soon fade into the past
Hate is an enigma
Hard to explain
Hard to understand
Something everyone has
Powerful
Controlling
