Your voice!
Last nite after having yet another person tell me their views on the upcoming plans for Frazier Park and their own personal ideas for it, I reflected on how all of them were not at the town hall meeting held in January. I know we all have very engaging lives that don’t allow us to take in all the meetings that are beneficial to us as a community, however, it is so very important to attend as many as is possible. It is our community and our responsibility to let our elected officials know what we think.
My standard reply is, “Why are you telling me?”…….. Our elected officials can’t read our minds! They can, however, hear your voice at the meetings or read your opinions in this forum or on Facebook.
We are so fortunate to live in a society with problems like ours,… how to spend “our” excess money. A lot of other places don’t have the luxury or right to freely express themselves to elected officials and not worry about reprisals from said governing body. I encourage everyone to come and put your valuable “two cents” in at these gatherings or as mentioned above, in this forum or on Facebook. Our elected officials want and need to hear from us!
