The Ulysses American Legion continues to honor veterans and service members through its memorial brick fundraiser at the American Legion Memorial site, located at the corner of Main and Central in Ulysses.
Kyle Stringham, a member of the Ulysses American Legion, recently installed a memorial brick at the site. Each brick is purchased through the fundraiser and personalized with service member information provided by the purchaser.
The memorial gives families and community members an opportunity to recognize those who have served our nation while helping support the American Legion.
Established in 1920, the Ulysses American Legion is celebrating 106 years of supporting veterans, their families and the citizens of Grant County.
The community is invited to visit the memorial, honor those who have served our country and recognize those who continue to support our armed forces.
Anyone interested in purchasing a memorial brick or learning more about the fundraiser can contact the Ulysses American Legion at americanlegionulysses@gmail.com.
