Thanks Tucker!: Metcalf Finishes Solid UHS Golf Career

Recent Ulysses High School graduate Tucker Metcalf finished up his high school golf career in a solid place.
After day two tee off at 10 a.m., at the 4A State Golf Tournament in Winfield, May 22-23 at the Winfield-Quail Ridge Golf Course. Metcalf finished T-21, just missing a medal by one shot.
A spokesperson for UHS stated Metcalf, "represented Ulysses and UHS golf very well the last four years."
Metcalf qualified to play in the second round of the 4A State Tournament with a first round of 81. At the time, he was tied for 16th overall.
Metcalf was the individual runner-up at the 4A Regional tournament at Hesston which qualified him to participated in the state tournament. At Regionals, he shot a 74.
He also has the career distinction of being named to the Kansas Golf Association's 2022 boys All-State Team. KGCA All-State honors are based off season-long averages for players whose coaches are members of the association.
Metcalf was named to the second team in Class 4A.
Tucker plans to attend Colby Community College, where he will major in Ag Business.
