A Cluckin’ Good Time is planned for the 77th Annual Grant County Fair set for July 19-26. Here are some of the activities planned:

Saturday, July 12

Open Class Dog Show, Civic Center, 1 p.m.

Tuesday. July 15

4-H Fashion Revue/Construction/Buymanship Judging, 9 a.m.; 4-H Fashion Revue/Construction/Buymanship Evening Gala Show, 7 p.m.

Thursday, July 17

Poultry Pullorum-Typhoid Testing, 6-8 p.m. at the 4-H Building. All 4-H and Open Class Poultry must be tested before they can be entered in the fair.

Saturday, July 19

Judge Parade, 8:45 a.m.

Parade Procession Begins, 10 a.m.

Parade Downtown, 10:20 a.m.

Free Hot Dog Feed (Small Parking Lot)

Kids Power Pedal Tractor Pull, Noon (Commercial Building)

Sunday, July 20

Ulysses Stampede Rodeo, 7:30 p.m.

Monday, July 21

Check-in for open class and 4-H Horse Show, 8 a.m.

Open Class and 4-H Horse Show, 8:30 a.m.

4-H Foods Consultation Judging, 11 a.m.

Demonstration and Illustrated Talk, Reading, Public Speaking Contest Judging, 2 p.m.

Corn Hole Tournament, Commercial Building

Pickin in the Arena Musical Entertainment sponsored by the Grant County Fair Board, 6:30 p.m.

Free Discada Street Taco Feed (by the Commercial Building)

Tuesday, July 22

Check-in animals followed by weigh-in, entering of Livestock, 6:30-11 a.m. Absolutely no animals (any species) unloaded until check-in.

Entering of 4-H and Open Class Rabbits and Poultry (4-H Building), 6:30-11 a.m.

Mandatory Livestock Exhibitor Meeting (Arena), 11 a.m.

Entering of 4-H and Open Class Exhibits, 3-7 p.m.

Youth 4-H BBQ cookoff, 4 p.m.

Grant County Feeders presents T-Bone Express (north of the auditorium), 6-8 p.m.

Turtle Races Sponsored by Grant County Bank in the Show Ring, 7 p.m.

New Beginnings Church Watermelon Feed (north of the covered arena), 7 p.m.

Mutton Bustin, 8 p.m. (Covered Arena)

Wednesday, July 23

Afternoon at the Movies (Auditorium) Jimmy Stewart in The Rare Breed, 1 p.m.

Virtual Roller Coaster (Auditorium), 4-8 p.m.

Color Me Crazy face painting/air brush tattoos (Auditorium), 4-9 p.m.

Open Class and 4-H Goat and Sheep Show (Show Arena), 5 p.m.

Grant County Feeders presents T-Bone Express (north of the auditorium), 6-8 p.m.
