Ulysses Animal Control Officer Anne Langston recently met up with the Senior State Director of Kansas for the Human Society of the United States, Midge Grinstead.
"I had the pleasure of chatting with Midge Grinstead (October 24) at Bear Creek Coffee," Langston said in a recent Facebook post. "We talked all things shelter, animal welfare, and legislation. Midge is a wonderful (and extremely knowledgeable) resource available to our community. Thanks for stopping by on your SW Kansas trip, Midge."
Langston said Grinstead is the senior state director of Kansas for the Humane Society of the United States. She works in Kansas to support animal welfare legislation, fight animal cruelty in all forms, and engage citizens to promote the protection of all animals.
