Alejandros Restaurant Makes Change In The Community After 20 Years Of Service

Alejandro's Restaurant has been a part of the local business community for the past 20 years, and owners Martin and Betty Delgado look forward to the next 20 - with just bit of a different look.

"After months of prayer, we've decided to close the doors at Alejandro's (as of February 20)," explained Betty Delgado. "Alejandro's is just closing to the building. Lord willing, it's making a change to having  a food truck and a catering service."

According to Betty, they plan to keep their staff to assist them in this new endeavor.

The Delgados appreciate the Grant County community.

"Thank you to the community for being a part of our 20-year story," Betty said.  "Our lives have truly been blessed and made better by every conversation; every friendship, every handshake and every hug shared inside these doors.  Feeding people during their most meaningful moments has always been the heart of what we do."

The Delgados realize the surprise their undertaking has made.

"We realize this may feel sudden and we understand it’s happening quickly," she said.  "Please know this decision wasn’t made lightly." 

The Delgados planned to open their food truck within a week of the doors closing on their brick and mortar location - and it has opened.

Betty said they are offering their top-selling items from the food truck.

"We are placing an even stronger focus on expanding our catering services," she said.  "We look forward to continuing to serve the community from the food truck or by catering for your gatherings, businesses, churches, families and special events.  It’s been a beautiful journey making memories, now it’s time to make more memories in a new way.  We pray you’ll continue to let us serve you, your families, your businesses and your gatherings for many more years to come." 

The Delgados again expressed their appreciation.

"We have always been grateful to this community, and we enjoy serving the community," she said.   "We are so thankful for this community and looking forward to a new change by continuing serving the community with our food truck and catering services -  with grateful hearts, Martin, Betty family & staff.
