Southwest Kansas Sales LLC – Carquest hosted the Chamber Coffee February 20, welcoming community members while also celebrating Customer Appreciation Day.
Owner Chase Trahern shared updates on the business, noting that since opening in November, the team has been steadily working through renovations and improvements.
“It’s been a process with shelving and rearranging the store,” Trahern said. “You’re going to continue seeing more changes.”
Trahern explained Carquest Advance has transitioned from being affiliated with Advance Auto to operating under its own Carquest brand. Over the past five years, the company has expanded its in-house and private-label product lines, including oil, hydraulic fluids, filters, and other automotive supplies.
“With this change, our Carquest Advance brand products will be more affordable,” Trahern said. “We’re currently running sales, and customers can scan a QR code in-store for a chance to receive an $80 gift card on select sale items.”
The business also invited customers to attend its Customer Appreciation Day lunch, catered by Wagon Wheel, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Ulysses Chamber Director Robin Leonard thanked Trahern for hosting.
“The community really enjoys having his auto parts store here in Ulysses,” she said.
