The Ulysses Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development has announced the addition of Jessica Cross as its new Executive Assistant.
Though a native of Oklahoma, Cross has proudly called Ulysses home for the past nine years. She and her husband relocated to the community through his career with Northstar Aviation, bringing their family — two boys and two girls — to build their life in Grant County.
Shortly after arriving in Ulysses, Cross began working at Blush Salon, where she continues to serve clients offering nail services, hair styling, waxing, and facials. Her experience working closely with community members has helped her build strong local connections — something that will serve her well in her new role.
Cross learned of the Chamber opening through County Clerk Anita Lane. While she admits she previously didn’t realize the full scope of the Chamber’s involvement in local events and initiatives, she has quickly embraced the opportunity and is looking forward to contributing in meaningful ways.
In her new position, Cross will assist with Chamber Coffees, Spring Fling, and a variety of upcoming events and economic development efforts throughout the year.
Community members are encouraged to give Cross a warm welcome as she steps into her new role and continues to invest in the community she and her family call home.
