It is not often that a community is fortunate enough to be shaped by a true example of servant leadership—someone whose influence reaches far beyond their job title and whose dedication is felt at the local, state, and even national level. In Grant County, that example can be found in Marieta Hauser.

Throughout the years, Hauser has devoted herself to serving others in countless ways. From guiding young leaders through programs such as Junior Leadership to supporting the broader community through the many initiatives and activities she has helped organize, her impact has been both wide-ranging and deeply personal. Her work has strengthened connections, encouraged growth, and helped shape opportunities for residents of all ages.

As the longtime Director of the Grant County Chamber, Hauser’s commitment has been marked by pride in her community, tireless effort, and an unwavering dedication to service. Her leadership has left a lasting imprint on Grant County—one that will continue to be felt long after her retirement.

In recognition of her years of service, the community is coming together to do something special in her honor. Residents, friends, and colleagues are invited to join in congratulating Marieta Hauser on her well-earned retirement and to help celebrate the legacy she leaves behind.

Those interested in participating or learning more about how to honor Hauser are encouraged to call 620-356-1201 or stop by the office in person. Ask for Nancy Kletecka or Tyler Hook.

This is an opportunity for Grant County to come together and show its appreciation for a leader who has given so much—and to remind Marieta Hauser just how much she means to the community she has faithfully served.
