Dynatest Physical Therapy Hosts March 28 Coffee

Posted

The last time Dynatest Inc., Physical Therapy played host to a Chamber Coffee was six years ago, and in that time, Dynatest has made some massive changes. The only one left over from that time is Bo Zirkle, who leads the crew at Dynatest these days.

Zirkle said Dynatest has a special gym called Joint Effort which is available 24/7 for members, who are provided a key fob to open the door on the south side of the building.

“We added some new things (and) more security,” Zirkle said. “The door lock, which is a key fob, and it basically unlocks the magnet for about three seconds, it locks behind you and you can come in and nobody can come in who doesn’t have an active membership. There are security cameras.”

Joint Effort features many different types of equipment that are suitable for everyone, as it includes a great variety of resistance training equipment to ease the impact on the joints.

“We’ve also expanded to have some social media and a marketing director,” Zirkle added, saying the interior of the building has been remodeled and equipment such as a defibrillator and TENS units are available.

Autumn Deyoe does marketing for Dynatest and added that the interior and exterior signs have been updated. They are working on a sign for Joint Effort, which is accessible on the south side of the Dynatest building at 118 South Main Street.

“We are working on getting a Joint Effort sign so everybody will know it’s here,” Deyoe said. “We think it’s an amazing establishment to have and offer to the community.”

Deyoe added if anybody thinks they need physical therapy services, a doctor’s appointment is not needed.

“You do not need a doctor’s note to come to physical therapy,” she said. “Your insurance will cover so many visits without a doctor’s approval, so I think that’s very important to note and I think it’s very important you choose wherever you want to go for physical therapy. You have more than one choice and so I think that’s very important.”
