A total of 14 students are preparing for the National Registry EMT-B certification exam, which will allow them to pursue Kansas certification as EMT-Basics. On Thursday, students in the cardiovascular class dissected beef hearts as part of their hands-on study of the human circulatory system. On Saturday, students participated in a fetal pig dissection lab, gaining a deeper understanding of body systems through hands-on learning.
