First Annual 'Taste of Ulysses' Wine Walk a Great Success

Posted

Grant County Chamber of Commerce hosted its First Annual Taste of Ulysses Wine Walk October 18, drawing a fantastic crowd and filling Main Street with energy, laughter, and community spirit.

The event was a tremendous success, as residents and visitors alike turned out to support local businesses while sampling a variety of wines, beverages, and snacks along with enjoying live music by The Adam Mathes Band at the downtown gazebo.

A special thank-you goes to all participating businesses for opening their doors and helping make the evening memorable. Congratulations to Tyler Baker, who took home the event’s prize basket!

The idea for the Wine Walk was first brought to the Grant County Tourism Council by Debbie Long, inspired by similar events held in nearby towns such as Elkhart. With help from Marsha Flummerfelt and the organizational efforts of Robin Leonard, the event came together seamlessly. Robin’s hard work, energy, and enthusiasm played a major role in the success of the evening — a promising reflection of her future as Chamber Director.

With such a strong turnout and positive response, the Taste of Ulysses Wine Walk is sure to become a beloved annual tradition for years to come.
