Gary had many interests that brought him joy throughout his life. He liked golf, singing, and especially bass fishing, sharing tips and fishing gear with his grandson, Eastan, whenever he could. He especially loved baseball. He was a pitcher and often spoke about his experiences and memories connected to the minor leagues. He also enjoyed watching football on television and would call his boys during the games, sharing in the excitement and staying connected through the sports he loved.
