Geneva Amy Orosco, 39, Ulysses, died Sunday, June 30, near Eagle Nest, New Mexico.  

She was born October 30, 1984, in Ulysses, the daughter of Antonio and Geneva (Pauda) Ramos.  

Amy grew up in Ulysses and graduated from Ulysses High School in 2003.  

She was an office manager for several years for United Country Stuzman Realty & Auction.  She then got her realtor license and became an agent for them.  

Amy and Daniel Orosco have been together for 21 years, marrying April 21, 2013, in Ulysses.  

She loved being with and spending time with her family including her siblings and Daniel’s family. She spoiled her kids every chance she got. She loved watching all of her kids play sports, gymnastics, debate, basketball, baseball and football, but her passion was watching softball and wrestling. She loved each and every one of her nieces and nephews and was very proud of each of them. 

Amy served on the Grant County Recreation Board and enjoyed attending Oasis Church.

Amy is survived by her husband, Daniel, Ulysses; children: Geneva Leya Orosco, Wichita, Camelo Orosco, Malikah Tharp, Emilina Orosco, Noah Orosco, and Serenity Orosco all of Ulysses; brothers: Raul and wife, Angie, Lincoln, Neb., Adam Pauda, Ulysses, David Ramos and wife, Reanna, Amarillo, Texas, Isaac Pauda, Ulysses, and Antonio Ramos, Ulysses; sisters: Rosa Anguiano, Ulysses, Toni and husband, Benjimen, Mendoza, Ulysses, Mary Ramos, Denver, Colo., Eva Sierra and husband, Martin, Ulysses, Irene Garcia and husband, Lauro, Ulysses, Esther Aguilera and husband, Sergio, Garden City, Kans., Nora Garcia and husband, Bene, Ulysses, and Lillie Ramos, Ulysses; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Amy is preceded in death by her niece Seriah Ray Garcia, her parents, grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.

Visitation was from 4-8 p.m., Sunday, July 7, at Oasis Church in Ulysses.  

Funeral service took place at 10 a.m., Monday, July 8, at Oasis Church in Ulysses, with Pastor Andy McMillan officiating. Interment will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery.  

Memorial contributions may be given to Geneva Amy Orosco Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS  67880.
