Two Grant County Chamber of Commerce leaders were recently honored at regional conferences for their outstanding work and contributions to the area. At the Legislative Appreciation Dinner on Tuesday evening, Marieta Hauser received special recognition from her fellow Southwest Kansas Chamber Directors. Colleagues praised her accomplishments on behalf of Grant County and highlighted her legislative efforts and ongoing contributions to both local and regional chambers. Robin Leonard was also recognized for her professional achievements. At the Kansas Tourism Conference, she earned her Kansas Destination Specialist designation, a distinction awarded to individuals demonstrating deep knowledge and commitment to promoting tourism across the state. In addition, the Wild West Country Tourism Coalition, in which Grant County plays an active role, received a Marketing Award for its newly developed brochure. The honors underscore the dedication of local Chamber leadership in promoting community growth, supporting business development, and strengthening regional partnerships.

Hauser will be retiring from her position at Grant County Chamber this year. Leonard has been named the new director.
