Grant County Library had 30 people sign up for their Adult Reading Program this year.
Recently, some of those in the program took time out to have lunch in the park across from Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital. During lunch awards were handed out by Adult Services Librarian Claudia Lerma.
Kim Hampton was the Bingo blackout winner.
"They have reading challenges and activities to complete in order to get a bingo," said Grant County Library Director Holly Mathis. "They have one month to complete the challenge."
Mathis said part of the challenges are reading related but some involve participating in activities such as the Sip and Solve Mystery puzzles and Cooking with Monica (a program from Grant County Extension Office).
"We have a lot of fun activities for adults," Mathis said.
At the end of the program, all of those who got a bingo are invited to lunch.
Hampton received a button kitchen set and two tickets to The Movies as her prize. Other winners were Joan Frydendall who won the coloring contest. Frydendall received some snacks and some coloring supplies.
