Grant County Tourism Asking For Those Interested In Banners

Grant County Tourism would like to know what interest people might have in seeing our veterans honored on Main Street banners.

The banners would be displayed over the summer months.

Those submitting a picture of the veteran they want to honor would be responsible for the cost of the banner which will likely be less than $200.

The plan is that the banner would have the picture of the veteran, his or her name, years of service and branch of service.

At this time, we need to know how many people would be interested in purchasing a banner to be a part of this program.

Please contact the Grant County Chamber of Commerce at 620-356-4700 no later than February 16th.

Depending on the interest level, it is possible that we don't have enough Main Street poles to accommodate all of the interest. We are working on options to accommodate more.

Please call with your name and phone number so we can be in contact as the project progresses.
