Think you have nothing to do? Think again!
Well, if it's a Tuesday, there most certainly is something to do.
Grant County Farmers & Makers Market opened for their season on May 5. The market runs from 4 to 9 p.m., every Tuesday evening right in the heart of dowtown, at the corner of Grant Avenue and Main Street. Those who make the decision to get out and check it out will have the opportunity to shop fresh produce, a variety of handmade goods, and other local vendor offerings.
Farmer's markets are becoming a staple in most communities and offer an outlet for local producers, crafters and more to sell their wares.
The market was made possible when Grant County Senior Center received a grant from Impact Ulysses and Pathways (Blue Cross Blue Shield) in 2023.
The market runs weekly through the end of September.
