Leslie Yvonne Stephen passed away February 5, at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses.
Leslie was born June 2, 1957, in Elkhart Kan., the daughter of Jack and Hazel Hume of Walsh, Colo.
Leslie was married to Jens Stephen and raised two sons: Eric and Matthew Stephen in Ulysses.
Leslie (Les) was blessed with a very magnetic personality. She was the type of person who never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone she came in contact with feel welcome.
Leslie is survived by her mother Hazel Hume, Ulysses; husband, Jens Stephen; her two children: Eric Stephen & Tracy Mohs, and Matthew and Jennifer Stephen; her brother, Mike Hume, Walsh, Colo., and sisters: Sharon Hume Krie, Dodge City, Kan., and Jackie Hume Hogue of Arizona; five grandchildren: Jory Stephen, Abbie Whittington, Aubrey Whittington, Myah Stephen, and Grayson Stephen.
She is proceeded in death by her father, Jack Hume; brother, Sam Hume; and sister, Elaine Hume all of Walsh Colo.
Everyone who knew Leslie was aware, she was always in charge of every situation. So, out of respect for the boss’s wishes, we will not be having a service at this time. We are planning a celebration of life gathering at a future date.
