Linda Jo Caldwell, 73, passed away Thursday, January 30, at her home in rural Grant County
She was born January 26, 1952, in Stilwell, Okla., the daughter of Joe M. and Modene M. (Miller) Watie.
Linda graduated from Ulysses High School.
Linda attended floral design in Denver, Colo., and later owned Feathers to Flowers.
She married Randy Caldwell February 14, 1973, in Ulysses.
She also worked at Something Special and Obsessions, and was the bookkeeper for the farm.
Linda’s family was the most important thing to her and always keeping them fed. She never missed her kids, grandkids, and great-grandbabies activities and was always their biggest cheerleader. Linda was always willing to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed spending the last four years with her great-grandbabies, Britlynn and Blair.
Linda also loved to cook, go shopping and travel.
Linda is survived by her husband, Randy of their home; daughter, Michelle Caldwell, Ulysses; son, Casey Caldwell, Ulysses; sisters: Peggy Phelps and Bobbie Wilson both of Ulysses; brother, Kelly Watie and wife, Lucy, Ulysses; one granddaughter, M’Lynn Everett and husband, Bryce; two great-grandchildren, Britlynn and Blair; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation was from 2-8 p.m., Monday, February 3, at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
Funeral service took place at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 4, at Ulysses Church of Christ, with Minister Warren Baldwin officiating.
Interment followed at the Ulysses Cemetery.
