Tami Salsbury, Karen Harbour and Lynette Mills all started over six or seven years ago having Halloween at their homes for the kids of Ulysses.
It first started at Karen Harbour's home, and since then has been moved to Tami Salsbury’s home. Tami’s husband helps decorate and setup the outdoor fire pit. They all enjoy giving out tons of candy to all the kids.
A popular stop for local trick-or-treaters, last year they had 640 kids come by.
They start around 6 p.m. and continue "treating" kids until around 10 pm. Along with the outdoor fire pit, they had lots of music and a backup supply of candy.
Their theme this year was HOCUS POCUS. They all did a dance for the kids.
“The witches of Ulysses," Salsbury said.
Wheat Avenue has a great turn out at Halloween and all the kids appear to have a fun time.
